Two for one

Posted on Thursday 24 May 2007

When you’re down at Olympia Antiquarian book fair this year be sure to visit the Summer Fine Art and Antiques Fair, which shares the historic exhibition centre and runs alongside the book fair, although for an extended period of 7 – 17 June.

With some 300 international and UK exhibitors presenting thousands of the finest works of art and antiques, and covering everything from Ammonites to Alvar Aaltoth, this summer fair is an event comparable to none other.

Just as with book selling, authenticity and condition is absolutely vital. For the Summer Fine Arts and Antiques Fair there is a strong vetting committee of 200 Dealers, restorers, auction house specialists and museum curators checking the items to ensure that visitors can buy with absolute confidence.

So with the two prestigious fairs running concurrently there will be plenty to engage the interest of any treasure hunter. Tickets to the Antiquarian Book Fair allow entry to the Fine Arts and Antiques Fair, so it really is two for the price of one.
