To add interest amid the Chelsea flower show, horticulturists and garden lovers will be able to appreciate Bonhams Prints Sale on 3rd June, offering a range of botanical works.
This sale highlights a spectacular series of botanical plates from Dr Robert John Thornton's opus, Temple of Flora. The 13 plates depicting a huge range of flowers are expected to fetch £3,500-4,500.
Other notable sales include a lithograph entitled 'Le Trois Bouquets' by Marc Chagall (estimated to sell for £10,000-12,000); Dame Elizabeth Frink's 1992 screenprint 'Green Man' (£1,000-1,500) and Prunella Clough's 'Flower and Vase 1' (£800-1,200).
This sale will take place on Tuesday 3 June at 1pm, New Bond Street, London.
